The 2012 Jeep Wrangler is a vehicle with great off-road capability which can beat any other name in the market. The wrangler now sports an all-new interior with improved ergonomics and upgraded materials. Power and performance
The 2012 Wrangler is offered in Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon models. A 3.8-liter V-6 engine rated at 202 horsepower and 237 lb ft of torque; backed by a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an available four-speed automatic transmission is standard on all Wrangler models.
Body and styling
In 2011, the Wrangler Sahara models got all-new body-color hardtop. The large windows provide enhanced visibility. The power-heated mirrors and heated seats are new. Now the drivers can operate the cruise control, Bluetooth handsfree phone and other vehicle functions using the all-new steering-wheel controls. The interior noise is now significantly reduced thanks to the increased acoustical treatment. The list of new colors now includes Detonator Yellow, Deep Cherry Red, Sahara Tan, Cosmos Blue and Bright White.
A fuel-saver indicator, standard compass and outside temperature display, fog lamps, tow hooks and larger sliding sun visors with mirrors are among the standard features. The 2012 Jeep Wrangler provides 17.15 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat with a lockable, under floor storage area. Premium cloth seats with adjustable head rests; height-adjustable driver's seat; AM/FM stereo radio with in-dash CD Player/MP3 capability; Sirius satellite radio; six speakers; 368-watt seven-speaker Infinity sound system including subwoofer; air conditioning and remote keyless entry are some of the highlights of the 2012 Jeep Wrangler's interior.
Safety Features
Electronic stability control (ESC), Hill-start Assist (HSA) and Trailer-sway Control (TSC) are standard on all 2012 Wrangler models. Trailer-sway Control (TSC) is available. ABS, Front air bags, electronic roll mitigation (ERM), all-speed traction control and tire pressure monitoring are also standard.
