Power and performance
The all-new 2012 Chrysler 300 and 300 Limited models are equipped with the Chrysler?s newest 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine rated at 292 hp and 260 lb ft of torque and delivers an EPA estimated mileage of 18 city /27 highway mpg. Rear-wheel drive and a five-speed automatic transmission are standard. The other models have a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 good for 363 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque with a standard five-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy stands at 16 city/25 hwy (RWD) and 15 city/23 hwy (AWD) mpg.
Body and styling
The Base model is equipped with premium cloth low-back bucket seats, 8-way power driver's seat, rear 60/40 folding seats, tilt/telescopic steering column, cruise control, automatic dual-zone air conditioning system , speed-sensitive power door locks, six-speaker sound system with a CD player, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and an iPod/USB audio interface. The Limited model is equipped with a rearview camera, heated front seats and a six-speaker Alpine sound system. The top of the line up 300C includes power-adjustable pedals, interior LED lighting, a power-adjustable steering wheel with mounted audio control, leather upholstery (optional separately) and a power rear sunshade.

The all-new 2012 Chrysler 300 is loaded with more than 70 safety and security features including standard Keyless Enter-N-Go and electronic stability control (ESC) with segment-exclusive Ready Alert Braking and Rain Brake Support safety features. The brand?s SafetyTec Group is available on the 2012 Chrysler 300 Limited, 300C and 300C AWD models. The list of standard equipment includes front-row reactive head restraints, full-length side-curtain air bags, driver?s knee bag and front seat-mounted side-thorax air bags for enhanced occupant protection in the event of a collision.
