Overview
The Dodge Viper is inspired by the legendary model of the 1960s, AC Cobra. Named fittingly after its predecessor, the Viper has one simple rule for drivers: drive a cheetah. Dodge's logic is equally simple: if 600 horses cannot pump up your adrenaline, what can?
The 2010 Dodge Viper carries over the usual features that have made it the rage of the road (it saw an upward revision in its power in 2008). This Dodge model has a mind-boggling acceleration of 0-60 mph in fewer than four winks, just the speed of a cheetah, the world?s fastest animal.
Power and performance
The 2010 Dodge Viper comes with the power of 600 horses. This makes it among the most powerful cars ever. The Dodge Viper is offered as both roadster and coupe, both of which come with the same engine. Called SRT 10, this 8.4-liter V10 SFI injection comes with a six-speed manual transmission. It offers an estimated fuel economy of 13/22 mpg (city/highway).
Body and styling
The 2010 Dodge Viper?s standard interior features across the two body types include driver-side sun visor; rear window defroster; keyless entry; passenger side sun visor; 12-volt auxiliary power outlet; power rack-and-pinion steering; message center; tilt steering column; leather-wrapped steering wheel; on-board refueling vapor recovery fuel system; power adjustable pedals; air conditioning; and seven speakers with subwoofer and tweeters.
For the exteriors, the Viper comes with 18-inch and 19-inch forged polished 'razor' wheels; fog lamps; variable intermittent windshield wipers; sport suspension; dual side exhaust; tinted windshield glass; rear view mirror with reading lamps; and power mirrors.

Inside emergency trunk lid release; advanced multistage front air bags; front power windows with one-touch-down feature; anti-lock four-wheel-disc brakes; child seat upper tether anchor; sentry key theft deterrent system; warning chime; speed sensitive power locks; and a security alarm are some of the many safety features on the 2010 Dodge Viper.
