HOLIDAY FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

The annual Holiday Festival of Lights is now open to the public on James Island. The 3 mile driving tour is a light extravaganza that draws thousands of visitors each year and features over 500,000 lights.

The park also features a train ride around the park to see the lights and 2 gift shops.

BOEING IS COMING TO THE LOWCOUNTRY

Boeing's Dreamliner assembly plant is coming to North Charleston. The addition of Boeing has the potential to pump billions into the Lowcountry's economy, lure new business to the region and trigger ripple effects that could impact roads, schools, home sales and more. 2008 Jeep Patriot Gets Top Crash Test Rating from Auto Safety group
In mid-October, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety revised its crash test rating of the 2008 Jeep Patriot, upgrading the frontal crash test result to “Good,” the institute’s top rating. In addition to the top rating for frontal protection, the 2008 Jeep Patriot, equipped with available front torso airbags, also was rated “Good” for side impact protection and “Acceptable” for rear crash protection.
