CHARLESTON FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL

This world-class culinary festival showcases the talents of local and nationally-recognized Southern chefs in a city widely acclaimed for its Lowcountry cuisine. EVENTS FOR SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5TH IN CHARLESTON

It will be a busy day in Charleston on Saturday December 5th. Starting at 9:00 AM, the annual 5K Reindeer Walk will take place starting at 161 East Bay St in front of Southend Brewery. The Reindeer Run benefits MUSC Children's Hospital. Call (843) 345-6906 for details.

From 4:30 - 6:00, The Charleston Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at Marion Square. For more information, call (800) 724-7305.

At 5:00, The Annual Charleston Parade of Boats begins in Mt. Pleasant. The boats

reach the Charleston Peninsula around 6:30.  Fireworks will follow at approximately 6:45.
